Sa formation s&rsquo;appuie \u00e9galement sur un DUT en G\u00e9nie Chimique de l&rsquo;Universit\u00e9 Cheikh Anta Diop et une sp\u00e9cialisation en technologie alimentaire en Yougoslavie.<\/p>\n<p>Parcours Professionnel<br \/>\nSa carri\u00e8re de plus de 40 ans \u00e0 l&rsquo;Institut de Technologie Alimentaire (ITA) de Dakar illustre une progression remarquable : chef de laboratoire (1972-1974), directeur technique (1986-1995), directeur de la Recherche et du D\u00e9veloppement (1995-2007), puis Directeur G\u00e9n\u00e9ral (2007-2014). Il a coordonn\u00e9 plusieurs projets internationaux majeurs, notamment avec l&rsquo;USAID sur la transformation du mil et du ni\u00e9b\u00e9, et avec le CRDI sur le projet \u00ab\u00a0Arraw\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>Expertise et Reconnaissance<br \/>\nExpert reconnu en transformation des c\u00e9r\u00e9ales locales, il a pr\u00e9sid\u00e9 le Premier R\u00e9seau Francophone des Technologies de Transformation des Produits Alimentaires en Afrique. Ses innovations technologiques lui ont valu trois brevets d&rsquo;invention, notamment sur les proc\u00e9d\u00e9s de pr\u00e9paration du couscous de mil et les machines de granulation. Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9cor\u00e9 Chevalier dans les Ordres du M\u00e9rite, du Lion et des Palmes Acad\u00e9miques.<\/p>\n<p>Contributions Scientifiques<br \/>\nAuteur de nombreuses publications scientifiques internationales, il a co-encadr\u00e9 des th\u00e8ses de doctorat et masters. Ses recherches portent principalement sur la valorisation des c\u00e9r\u00e9ales locales, la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 alimentaire et les biotechnologies alimentaires.
